The Tour de Cure is this Saturday and we have a couple more team members to introduce you to. Today our featured team member is Alex. Thank you, Alex, for letting us know why you are riding in the Tour de Cure!

Q: Why are you riding in Tour de Cure?

“I’m riding for my dad. He has non-Hodgkins lymphoma and has gone through 2 rounds of chemotherapy.”

Q: What’s your fundraising goal? How much have you raised thus far?

“My goal is 2,500, and so far I have raised 2,100.”

Q: How do you plan on achieving your goal? What are your favourite parts/strategies for fundraising?

“Asking friends.”

Q: If you’ve ridden before, tell us about your favorite or most memorable ride experience. If you haven’t, what got you to join and what are you looking forward to?

“I’ve ridden twice before. The coolest part was it used to be a two-day event and everyone camped together and there was a big food hall and concert/ beers and just mingling with everyone on the Saturday night was so much fun.”
