We are very proud to announce that our talented colleague, Leah George-Wilson, has been appointed as the Truth and Reconciliation Officer for the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association (“CBABC”).  As Truth & Reconciliation Officer, Leah will assist the Truth & Reconciliation Working Group and CBABC to integrate Indigenous cultural competency within future professional development and work with the CBABC’s Sections and Forums to integrate components of the Reconciliation Action and implementation Plan.  Given Leah’s exemplary leadership and her vast experience as a true change maker and advocate, we can’t imagine a better person to fill this role.
