MT+Co. Acts for Pulse Energy in Purchase by EnerNOC

The Miller Titerle + Company team acted as legal counsel in the acquisition of Pulse Energy by EnerNOC, Inc. The deal closed on December 1, 2014.

Vancouver-based Pulse Energy is an Energy Intelligence Software company (EIS) founded in 2006. Using data analysis of energy consumption, Pulse helps small and medium-sized entities manage their response to energy demand. Pulse has quickly become a global leader in EIS for utilities’ commercial customers with BC Hydro, Pacific Gas & Electric, FortisBC and British Gas as part of a customer base spanning five countries.

The combination of Pulse and EnerNOC is expected to deliver target utilities with an “unparalleled value to their entire commercial and industrial customer base”, notes Pulse CEO David Helliwell. Together, EnerNOC and Pulse Energy will serve over 50 utilities worldwide.
