About
Jaime works with our business and workplace law teams on corporate and employment matters. Jaime is passionate about creating genuine connections with clients, colleagues, and communities and she takes pride in her authenticity, work ethic, and creative problem-solving.
EXPERTISE
Jaime first joined the MT+Co. team as a summer student in 2023 before being called to the bar in 2025. In her practice, Jaime brings a personal approach to solving complex issues faced by businesses across a range of industries.
In her corporate practice, Jaime supports corporations, partnerships, economic development structures, and non-profit organizations throughout all phases of their life cycle. She has experience with corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, operational agreements, and governance. Jaime’s employment work focuses on drafting agreements and policies, navigating and articulating employment standards, and resolving human rights matters. She is always focused on identifying each client’s priorities to truly understand and to present clear solutions through applications of the law.
In her experience as a student and now a lawyer at MT+Co, Jaime has become an active member of our student committee and values any opportunity to connect with future legal professionals.
WORTH NOTING
Before attending law school, Jaime worked and volunteered as a basketball colour commentator and analyst, appearing (briefly) on TSN and Sportsnet. She loves to watch and talk sports and will never turn down a chance to go to a game of any kind.
Jaime loves spending time outdoors and around the ocean – surfing, camping, and running in the rain are her favourites. When she’s not outside, she enjoys playing crib and backgammon with her partner or reading a good book.
