About

Amy is a lawyer at our Vancouver office working primarily with our Litigation + Dispute Resolution and Workplace Law Groups. Amy centers collaboration, curiosity, and authenticity in everything she does. She looks forward to helping clients move forward in their businesses by working to solve complex problems with efficiency and practicality.

EXPERTISE

During law school at UBC, Amy worked as a research assistant to Professor Benjamin Perrin, helping to create the first open-access criminal law textbook, and as a peer tutor through the UBC Centre for Accessibility. She is passionate about using her knowledge and skills to improve the lives of those around her, having volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and Battered Women’s Support Services. Amy believes in the importance of providing client-centered services in a way that is empowering, compassionate, and trauma-informed.

Amy first joined MT+Co. as a summer articled student in 2023. After completing law school at UBC, Amy worked as a judicial law clerk for five justices of the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Her clerkship experience affirmed her passion for litigation and dispute resolution, refining her legal research and writing skills.

WORTH NOTING

Amy loves to travel and has visited over 30 different countries across four continents. Having grown up in Ontario, she is a proud converted Canucks fan, and while you won’t catch her on a black diamond run any time soon, she loves spending time outdoors to appreciate all that BC has to offer. Outside of work, you can usually find her walking the seawall, playing volleyball with friends, or curled up with a book and her cat, Buffy.
