Join us in celebrating Emily Savage and her well-deserved recognition as a 2025 Lexpert Rising Star: Leading Lawyer Under 40!

Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 honours lawyers selected from firms, in-house departments, and other practices across Canada.  Lawyers are nominated, and a shortlist is forwarded to an advisory panel comprised of leaders and experts within the legal profession. Winners were celebrated at an awards ceremony in Toronto on November 20th.

Emily is a principal lawyer and lead of MT+Co.’s growing mergers and acquisitions practice group, which encompasses specialist lawyers across our Vancouver, Victoria, and Toronto offices. In her practice, she works closely with business owners and advisors across a variety of industries on acquisitions, divestitures, financings, and corporate commercial matters.

Outside her practice, Emily spearheads initiatives to foster diversity and inclusion within the legal industry and the M+A community. At MT+Co., she co-chairs the student committee and oversees associate development. She has also held director positions on various non-profit boards, including Lawn Summer Nights Society and the Association for Corporate Growth (BC), where she led the mentorship program and young professionals committee.
