Praise Oluwafemi

Praise joins MT+Co. as a summer student in our Vancouver office. She is excited for the opportunity to work with each of our practice groups to develop her skills and explore her interest in several areas of law.

EXPERTISE

Starting this fall, Praise will serve on the Admissions Committee for the University of Victoria’s Law Faculty Council. She was also recognized with the Scales of Justice Award in 2026. This award is presented to a student who best demonstrates a balanced approach to a legal education.

Before law school, Praise was a Student Arrival Coordinator at the University of Manitoba’s International Centre, where she helped international students navigate their transition to life in Canada during the pandemic. She later supported student orientation initiatives and coordinated intercultural events as a Student Program Assistant, helping foster connection and community among students from diverse backgrounds.

WORTH NOTING

Praise has extensive experience working with children and youth, including tutoring and supporting young people from marginalized communities in developing their reading, writing, and math skills.

Outside of work, she enjoys playing indoor volleyball, crocheting, and getting lost in a good fantasy or historical fiction novel.
