About

Sara joins MT+Co. as a summer student. She looks forward to working with each of our practice groups to develop her skills and explore her interest in several areas of law.

EXPERTISE

Sara previously summered at a criminal defense firm, where she developed a passion for navigating complex relational and legal issues. This passion, framed through a systemic lens, is a thread she hopes to weave through all her work.

Before attending law school, Sara worked as a peer support worker at the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre and later at the UBC Capacity Research Unit as a Research Assistant on a community-based pilot project exploring trauma- and violence-informed outreach in the Downtown Eastside.

WORTH NOTING

Sara is an avid rock climber, hiker, and skier. She is passionate about learning new languages and is currently learning to read and write in Farsi. She also loves attempting new recipes and, more importantly, eating delicious food.
