“I’m here because I believe in the firm and the people. At MT+Co., I’m surrounded by experts in the legal fields that inspired me to become a lawyer in the first place. MT+Co. supports me in my practice and gives me the opportunity to do what I love most: to help people achieve their goals, in an innovative and down-to-earth manner. It’s simple: we do good work, for good people.”
Yvan is a member of MT+Co.’s Business Law + Transactions and Indigenous Law practice groups. His practice is primarily focused on advising high-growth companies, Indigenous businesses and governments, and not-for-profit organizations, on the following matters:
Yvan is a Director on the Board of Indspire (formerly the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation), an Indigenous-led national charity that invests in the education of Indigenous students. He is a decorated 18+ year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and remains active as a recruit instructor in the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve at HMCS Discovery.
